Survived by parents, Nancy and Mark; sisters: Alison Babe (Sean Farrell), Olivia Rosol (Nathaniel) and Gabrielle Babe (Fiancé, Dylan Thompson); brother, Bryce Babe; niece, Harper; nephew, Noah; grandmother, Phyllis Etringer; also survived by Rudy.

MEMORIAL SERVICES will be announced at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to Kent Bellows Mentoring Program or Citylight Church.

    To the Babe family
    There are no words to express how saddened I am at Matt’s passing. I pray that you find some solace in knowing how many lives Matt touched . He was a true friend to our family and all of my boys while they were growing up. I think you picked a great picture of him, That smile could charm anyone and is exactly how I remember Matt. You guys will all be in my prayers.

    I am so deeply sorry about Matt. Karim and all of us were blessed to know him and share his bright light! He left his beautiful artwork for us all to enjoy! Karim has a picture they did in highschool hanging on his wall still. Love and prayers to you all! Sheryl Ereikat

    Nancy and Mark, my heart grieves with you and your family at this most difficult time. No words can describe your loss, but please know I’ve seen his talent and know that with an abundance of joyful memories, he has left a legacy of his creative expressions for all.     Matt was my best friend. I will never forget the experiences we shared together. He will always live on through me. We are so blessed that he left such an amazing legacy and impacted so many people. Sending thoughts and prayers to the Babe family and Matt’s friends

    I don’t know if you remember me from Walgreens and UNO. I just saw your son’s announcement in the paper, and want to let you know how sorry I am to hear about Matt’s passing, No parent should ever have to bury their child. You, Mark and your families are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
