When I heard of her death, I had a rush of memories too numerous to tell. She called me, “Ruthie, dear.” like is was my given birth name. No accident, health condition ever touched her “funny bone”. She was absolutely the best! Love and sympathy to her family from “Ruthie dear”

    Dear Monens,
So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Growing up, your home was a second home for me and your mom just counted me in with all the rest of her kids. Such a loving mom! We will all miss her much.

I met Maureen Monen through being neighbors of Mary & Gerry Ries and loved her from day 1. She was always so giving of herself in so many ways; a true angel of God on Earth…. I am so sorry to be so belated in sending the Monen Family my deepest Sympathy in your loss of Maureen. I know you will constantly be reminded of many special memories of life as it unfolded. May God Bless You as you travel forward with Maureen as one of your Guardian Angels. Janet Haney
