James D. McDonnell Dec 28, 1931 – Apr 13, 2015 Retired Omaha Fire Fighter of 35 years. Preceded in death by son, Tom McDonnell; grandson, Jared McDonnell. Survived by wife, Donna; children: Terri Wilson (Mike), Sharon Kline (Jack), Tim McDonnell (Jeri), Colleen Ferzely (Mark), and Bob McDonnell (Kelly); twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren with three expecting; sisters, Rita Zadalis (Jim) and Helen McDonnell; brother, Paul McDonnell (Joan); numerous nieces and nephews The family will receive friends Thursday, April 16th from 5pm to 7pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Friday, April 17th at 10am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery with military honors. Memorials are suggested to Muscular Dystrophy Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
