EVANSMelvin H., born March 21, 1930, Oneonta, Alabama. Passed away September 13, 2005, following a brief illness. Long times sales trainer and manager for Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society. Under his management, thousands of agents were trained with his insistence on honesty, integrity and accuracy, but always with a touch of humor. Mel was a man of many dimensions and truly one of a kind. He studied psychocybernetics under Dr. Maxwell Maltz and focused on the self image in his motivation sessions. Preceded in death by parents: Leon and Jessie Evans. Survived by: beloved wife of 32 years, Beverly; children from a previous marriage: sons, Mel Barry, Omaha, Kevin, San Rafael, CA, daughter, JoAngela King, Omaha, mother-in-law: Mrs. Paul Morgan, brother-in-law: P.J. Morgan; two grandchildren.
