Rose M. Merten October 8, 1918 – July 26 2015 Preceded in death by husband, Herman Merten; parents, Louis and Anna Lisko; brothers: Msgr. A. J. Lisko, Edwin Lisko (Jackie), Bernard Lisko (Joyce), and Francis Lisko; sisters, Loretta Cockson (Leo) and Helen Binder (Jim); sisters-in-law: Adeline Lisko, Ann Mathews, and Mary Handwerk. Survived by children: Thomas Merten (IllaRae), Joan Vogel (Dean), Margaret Sailors (Kenneth), Michael Merten, Kathryn Doran (Tommy), Joseph Merten, and Mary Merten; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene Lisko; sister-in-law, Clara Lisko. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 29th, from 5pm to 7pm, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm, all at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Thursday, July 30th. West Center Chapel to St. Adalbert Catholic Church for MASS at 11:30am. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Columban Fathers.
