Byron H. “Mertz” Mertins January 13, 1960 June 12, 2015 Preceded in death by mother, Betty Mertins. Survived by wife, Diana L. Mertins; children, Eryn Lemcke (Kyle) and Kyle Mertins; grandchild, Cheyenne Lemcke; father, Clarence Mertins; sister, Theresa Brinson (Charles); brother, Karl Mertins (Pamela); nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends Monday, June 15th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Tuesday, June 16th at 10am at Messiah Lutheran Church, 5015 S. 80 St. Interment, Hillcrest Memorial Park with military honors. Memorials will be directed by the family.
