May 22, 1951 – July 26, 2022

Preceded in death by parents, Gerald and Arlene Hupka. Survived by wife, Anne; children: Jen Buchholz (Kevin), MichelleHart (Andrew), and Ken Hupka; grandchildren: Austin Hupka, Brooklyn Buchholz, Logan and Preston Hart; brother, Larry Hupka (Verna); many other loving family members and friends.

The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 2nd, from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Wednesday, August 3rd, 10:30am at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church (16701 “S: Street). Private Interment: Calvary Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska, Special Olympics, National Kidney Foundation, or may be directed to the family.

      Thank you Dan and Liz Hope you both are doing well! This definitely has been a sad time in our life. Mike was a great guy and missed by many friends and family!

    Always respected and admired Mike as his own person and although did not “hang” together did enjoy seeing him and Anne at reunions. May perpetual light shine on him>

    Anne, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I had words to take away your heart ache, but I don’t. I pray that God’s peace will cover you and your family. I think of you all when I am missing my Summerwood days. Please take care.

      Thanks Kim, I am sure you know my heartache. Thanks for your note! I think of you often when I look out my window. You would be saddened to see the yard and house the way it is! Miss you!
