Mick was an adored husband and father-figure. He was a loyal friend, mentor, Catholic, and public servant. Mick retired as a Supervisory Special Agent of the FBI after 31 years of dedicated service in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Omaha. His proudest accomplishment was a beautiful 50-year marriage to his “forever person,” Patty, with whom he traveled the world and enjoyed a deep friendship. Mick had a wide network of beloved friends and colleagues; to know him was to be inspired, loved, and supported. He rests now with the Lord and his parents and in-laws who preceded him.

Our thoughts and love are with you Patty. Even during this horrific sadness, I still smile whenever I think of Mick. I remember all the dinners and times traveling together -how we all laughed!!! Love and will miss youMick- I will always hear your whistle.
Mick was a beloved and inspiring friend. A man of humor, calmness, and peace. Love to Patty and family.
May God Bless family & friends. Godspeed Micky Mott.
Patty, we are so sorry for your loss. Mick was a true professional and it was a privilege to work with him as a fellow agent.
We are so sorry to hear of Mick’s passing. A wonderful man, gone too soon. We’re thinking of you and sending our best wishes for you and all of the people who knew and loved Mick.
Patty, we are so saddened. . We are sorry for your loss. Mick and boys would come in every Wednesday and I would be excited to hear his stories and look at pictures from the adventures you guys took. He was an angel and we will miss him dearly. May his memory be eternal.
Dear Patty, Mick was always such a pleasure to visit with. We met in 1967 at Bellevue High School and he was terrific Gymnast. I can seeing him competing and it was amazing. Then in College he was a Phi Delt at Lincoln and then when you moved back to Omaha we would have great conversations. His career in the FBI and where he was and the issues he dealt with could have been a movie. However he remained such a wonderful man and I will treasure the friendship that we had. Our prayers to you and we celebrate the wonderful person that Mick was. Love Brian and Carey Hamilton
Dear Patty, When I heard about Mick’s passing, I was very sad, but I also knew that a wonderful, kind, and really devoted husband, and practicing Catholic, had moved-on to his eternal reward with Our Lord in Heaven. He was a man of integrity, and a patriot, who was also very funny, and someone with whom I had the good fortune, and pleasure to spend many years working with in the FBI.. The world will not be the same without him, but he and you will be in my prayers, and his legacy and memory on this earth will live-on with his family and friends. May God Bless you, Bob Marinaro
