FRANCO-Michael J., age 49, Winfield, KS, previously of Omaha, beloved son of Velma L. Ingram and Frank and Linda Franco, Passed away Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS following a long hospital stay. Michael was born in Omaha, NE, January 11, 1957 and lived most of his life in Omaha and Winfield, KS. Michael was a graduate of Iowa Western Community College’s food service program, and worked for most of his adult life as a food preparation person in restaurants in Wellington and Winfield, KS. He was preceded in death by former wife, Rhonda Founts Franco; grandparents, Sam and Nancy Franco of Omaha; foster grandparents, Ed and Martha Helmers of York, NE; uncle, Phil Franco and aunt, Josephine Franco, both of Omaha, Mike is survived by his mother, Velma L Ingram; father Frank J. and Linda L. Franco; brothers, Thomas J. Franco, James C. Franco and wife, Pam; niece Rhea Franco; nephews, Tim and Adam Franco; Aunt Sandy Bachmann and husband, Harlan; Uncle Joseph Franco and wife, Mary Lou; Aunt Debbie Franco; great-aunts, Mary Siragusa and Imogene Vacanti; several coustin, all from Omaha, and cousin Kathy, of Denver, CO. Visitation from 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, with family receiving friends and relatives 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., West Center Chapel. Interment Holy Sepulchre.
