Michael Joseph Miller
August 7, 1990 ~ September 24, 2023
Michael, 33, passed away surrounded by his family in Omaha, NE on September 24, 2023.
Michael Joseph Miller was born on August 7, 1990, in Omaha, NE, to parents Rob Miller and Leslie Blank. He was born and raised in Omaha, NE. He later moved to Papillion and attended Papillion La-Vista High School. After high school, he stayed in the Omaha area where he worked in landscaping, which is what he continued to do most of his life. Michael had many interests, which included hunting, fishing, gardening, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
His greatest passion was hunting. Michael has been on both the Nebraska Boone and Crocket list and the Pope and Young list. His first deer was featured in Rack Magazine at the age of 19. Michael loved all wifelife. When he couldn’t hunt, he spent evenings scoping corn and bean fields to catch a glimpse of a deer. You could visibly see the excitement in his eyes when he spoke about his hunting stories, and the deer he was tracking that year.
Michael took great pride in all he did. Michael was warm, kind and generous. He made everyone feel like a life-long friend. Michael found great joy in the accomplishment of others. He saw potential in everyone, even if they didn’t see it in themselves. Michael enjoyed learning, and most of all, passing on his knowledge. He loved his dogs, Zeeck and Lady. He was admired and adored by his girlfriend Cristina and her son Milo. Michael was patient, loving and selfless. He was always there to help anybody who needed it. Michael has made a tremendous impact on his short time with us. He will be missed, and most importantly, never forgotten.
Michael will continue to live on in others by giving the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Michael is survived by his parents; his 5 brothers, Beau, Nicholas, Kirk, Kyle, Joseph and their families; his many step-siblings; many nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, and cousins, his girlfriend and her son, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Tami Blank; his grandpa’s Joseph Blank and Bobby; and his great-grandparents, the Banacci’s.

Our deepest condolences to the family and Cristina. My wife and I are still in shock. This guy was our neighbor and I was told by Cristina that he admired and looked up to me… Wow! I didn’t know that what a honor… Well, I could say the same about Mike he was a talker lol but he showed me a few things that this old guy didn’t know. Damn what a shame Mike was so young and such a talented guy . It was so awesome to have a friend hunting buddy and neighbor that just loved the same thing I/we did..the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing . Mike will be truly missed. You have no idea.
Keep hunting buddy… Keep hunting
