It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of an extraordinary man, Michael R Armstrong, on June 30, 2024.  Mike was born on July 25, 1942, to Ray and Leona Armstrong in Omaha, NE.  He worked 30+ years in the meat department for several companies.

In 1977, Mike married the love of his life, Barbara.  Together, they spent as much time as possible in Padre Island, and went on many adventures together.

Mike was an avid fisherman and enjoyed western TV shows.

While the hearts of those left behind are heavy, we reach for comfort in knowing that we will be together again.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Leona Armstrong; sisters, Jackie Walker and Debra Armstrong.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Armstrong; daughter, Michele Armstrong; brother-in-law, Dallas Walker; nephew, Reed Tilley IV; and several friends.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, July 5, 2024, 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, 16701 “S” Street, Omaha with a VISITATION from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

INTERMENT:  Calvary Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to: St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church.
