My sympathies to Mikes sons and family. I worked with Mike at Bluffs Dodge. He was a great guy. Shocked when I seen this in paper.. Still can’t believe it. So sorry. He was very proud of his sons.
Safe in the arms of God now. I’ve known Mike for about 40 years and he was a great guy with a huge heart. He was a big part of the Bortolotti family with whom he enjoyed being with and we enjoyed having him around us. Mike always talked about his two sons and he was so very proud of them. It is always hard to lose a loved one but he is with you in spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. God be with you all.
Oh Mikey I’m going to miss you so much. I can’t believe I’m even writing this. My heart is broken. I love you James, Jerod and Patty. Your friend forever.

Saddened by his sudden passing but happy he had fun time amongst friends laughing n smiling on his last day. Mike, Patty my sister, Jared, and James shared many hours each year on my travel with my family to stay with the forstrom family during my Christmas visits from California. We had Unforgettable fun memories together. Love you brother Mike, I’m so glad that you were approved for a first class nonstop flight to heaven. With love from your brother-in-law. Salute to you! Rest in peace!
My sincere sympathy to all of you. I wish there were something I could say to ease your pain, but there is not. Lean on God and know you can call me anytime. I’m praying for you.
Love,
Kim

To MIke’s family, I offer my condolences on your loss, and please know that he will be in my prayers. I lost touch with Mike after graduating high school and moving to New Jersey, but we were very close friends in high school, and i have often told stories to my kids about some of the fun (and crazy) times we had together – especially the trip he and i took to Colorado when we were just 16 !! Sounds like he loved his family, and especially his sons very much – I am not surprised. May God bless him, and his family!
So sorry to hear about Mikes passing. Have many fond memories of my time working with him at Bluffs Dodge. Including a scar on my right hand from the many times I tried to take him down….. which I never did. Prayers to his whole family during this time!!!!!
Jared & James I am so sorry to just hear about your Dad’s passing. We as a Family want you two too know that you are in our Thoughts & Prayers. We had a lot of very special days watching you boys grow up and play in a lot of Baseball games over the years. I know he was very proud of you both growing up and he was absolutely one of the best parents I ever had the privilege of coaching his sons.
