March 21, 1945 – October 2, 2020

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Stanford and Lottie Johnson.  He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn; daughter, Taralynn and her husband, Ryan; his cherished granddaughters: Andrea, Quinnlyn, and Ruby.  He is also survived by his sister, Judy; nephews; and many dear friends.

Michael proudly served his country in the Air Force for 20 years after graduating from Virginia Tech.  After retirement from the military, Michael ran two children’s shoe stores with his wife, Carolyn.  He also worked for America West, and Pentagon Federal Credit union.  Michael loved golf, traveling, and spending time with his beloved family and friends.

VISITATION observing CDC guidelines: Thursday, October 8^th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel.  FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, October 9^th at 11am at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 7706 S. 96^th St. in LaVista, NE.  GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Monday, October 12^th at 11am at Omaha National Cemetery with military honors.  Memorials are suggested to Parkinson’s Nebraska, or Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
