Survived by daughter, Megan R. Kennedy; son, Eric M. Kennedy (Pamela); six grandchildren: Cora Belle, Hunter, Gavin, Annabelle, Davion, and Anton; siblings: Patricia Higgins (Blair), Joseph Kasun, Jamie Kasun, Pam Novotny (Mike), and Jennifer Burnett (Jay).
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Jan. 24th from 5pm to 7pm at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 4112 S. 26th St., followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL on Thursday, Jan. 25th at 10:30am, St. Bridget Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Huntington’s Disease Society of America.

So very very sorry for this loss! Thoughts and prayers to Michaela’s family. I knew she was sick but wow! Too darn young and will keep my memories of her on high school.
