Brundage, Mildred L., Mar 19, 1907 May 17, 2009, of Omaha, NE, died at Bergan Mercy Hospital. She suffered a brief illness after many years of extraordinary health for which she was always thankful. Born in Chicago, Ill., Mildred was the daughter of Louise Milkey and Frank Full. She and her husband Ken, who worked for Revere Copper and Brass, moved to Omaha and lived there for over 50 years. Mildred loved gardening. She worked for several years as an assistant at the day-care center of Morning Star Lutheran Church in Omaha where she met many wonderful people and enjoyed every second of being with the children. Mildred was a faithful friend to many and will be missed greatly by all who knew her and felt her presence. She had a particularly strong effect on her great-grandchildren, who will miss her deeply. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Brundage; son, Ken Brundage; daughter, Joan Brundage; granddaughter, Karen Brundage. She is survived by her grandchildren: Richard, David and Carol Schneider, Ken, Sharon and Janet Brundage; great-grandchildren: Laurian, Caroline, Elena and Sarah Schneider. GRAVESIDE SERVICE Wednesday, 10:15am, Evergreen Memorial Park, with Pastor Tom Miller of Morning Star Lutheran Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Morning Star Preschool and Child Care.
