Preceded in death by parents, Elizabeth Robertson and Jesse Leatherwood Thurmond; wife, Jean O’Neal Thurmond; daughter, Elizabeth Thurmond Brownrigg.

Survived by children: Patty Kunsemiller (Dave), Jessica Jurgensen (Jerry), Susan McMannama (Jack), and Mary Ali Vivanco Villar; grandchildren: Brian Brownrigg (Kate), Robb Pantano (Stephanie), Sarah Scott (Mike), John McMannama (Kelly), Beth Pantano (fiancé Matt Jackson), Carolyn Sutton (Chase), Kate Parker (Dan), Alison Bylsma (John), and Anne Kunsemiller; great-grandchildren: Lauren, Harrison and Ava Brownrigg, Ross, Isabella and Sofia Pantano, Jessica, Allison, Peyton and Alexis Scott, Mary Margaret McMannama, Eloise, Edith and Neal Sutton, Betsy and Britton Parker, and Connor Bylsma.

CELEBRATION OF BOB’S LIFE: Saturday, August 25^th from 4pm to 6pm at Omaha Country Club, 6900 Country Club Rd.  Private Inurnment: Resurrection Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #1.  Memorials are suggested to Omaha Home for Boys.
