Milo Max Burnett age 75, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Longview Care Center in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Milo was born October 12, 1939 in Sioux City, Iowa to Cecil Earl and Ramona (Judson) Burnett. Milo graduated from East High School in 1958. He went to Graceland College and Wayne State College where he obtained a Bachelor and Masters degree. Milo was a science teacher and he taught in Sioux City, Iowa, Eagle Grove, Iowa;, Mapleton, Iowa, and Onawa, Iowa. Milo belonged to the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Priesthood offices held, Priest, Elder, High Priest Patriarch- Evangelist. Milo enjoyed singing, bird watching, South Padre Islands, and was a member of the Logan Kiwanis Milo is preceded in death by his father: C. E. Burnett, mother: Ramona Burnett, sisters: Elaine Perry and Jean Curtis, mother-in-law Evelyn Gibson, and son in law Mike Sheer. Survivors include his wife: Marilyn K Burnett of Missouri Valley, Iowa, son: David M. Burnett and wife Darcy and their children Connor, Ethan and Chayse of Weston, Wisconsin, daughter: Kristin Burnett of Kansas City, Missouri, step daughter: Pam Jacobsen and husband Rick of Omaha, Nebraska, step son: Rick Emswiler and wife Lisa of Missouri Valley, Iowa, step daughter: Tricia Sheer of Bayard, Iowa, step daughter: Paula Pooh Wilde and husband Tom of Watertown, South Dakota, grandchildren: Lacey and husband Dave, Luke, Chelsea and Jacob, Calie, Harper and Grady, Gentry, Dakota and Rachel, Will, Nicole and brother-in-law Al Curtis. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Logan Memorial Chapel in Logan, Iowa.
