Molly’s life began on March 19, 1962. The second child of Tay and Dave Dean’s six children, she grew up in Omaha and attended St. Robert Bellarmine Grade School, Duchesne Academy, and Burke High School.

Molly’s pride and joy, her daughter, Kate, was born on April 13, 2000.  They shared a very special, loving relationship.  Supporting her daughter and many nieces and nephews at all their activities was a priority for Molly. She attended every game and recital program with joy and much cheering.

Molly loved crocheting, her dog Abby, and every person she met. Her kindness and her willingness to be friends are what made Molly so unique.  She was the happiest, most genuine person anyone knew, possessing an infectious smile and personality.  Her ability to remember names and past events always amazed everyone in her family, which is why we named her the family historian.

And now, Molly, dear daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend, we will love you and remember you forever.

Kate and family I’m so very sorry for your loss. Kate, you sweet girl were the light of your mother’s eyes. Even after Alexis moved from St. Robert’s if I saw your mom we updated each other on what you girls were doing. I LOVED seeing her come in after work @ Brother Sebastians because it was “catch up time” and she just had that great big smile. We will miss her but I know not nearly as much as you & your family will. Sending you a special “hug” from me and of course an Alexis “tighter than tight” squeeze too.

Molly was a such a special person. She always saw the good in everyone. Her smile would light up a room and make everyone feel better. She loved her family. Her daughter was her life. She has been lifted up on eagle’s wings and placed in the palm of God’s hand.

I don’t have the words to express my most deepest sympathy and sadness after just finding out of Molly’s passing. What a lovely, personable young lady she was. I always enjoyed her, and so did my husband, on our visits to the office. Molly, let your light and love shine down on your lovely daughter, your parents, and all family loved ones. My prayers and deepest sympathy.
