LARSEN, Myrna Jean Jun 15, 1927 Dec 14, 2014 Myrna Jean was born to Rudolph Rudy George Meisinger and Nellie Knutson-Meisinger in Cedar Creek, NE. She passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87 with her family by her side. Myrna married James G. Larsen on August 15, 1946. The happy couple lived most of their early years in Louisville, NE and started their family in 1950 with the birth of Lani Jean (Dan), followed by Linda Lee (Gary) and Mary Kay (Alfred); finally they got a son, James Rudolph (Michelle). On the Fourth of July 1958 Julie Ann (Steve) was born, then Jerry Lynn (Kim), and last but not least, Laurie Jane (Carlisle)and loving dog, Gracie. What a lively bunch the nine of them made. Myrna was loved by all who knew her, and when she was not having babies, she worked. While most of her working years were spent serving in the restaurant business, her last job was operating the cafeteria at Werner Enterprises in Omaha. She especially loved this job because the Werner family was so good to her family. Many thanks to them. Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Nellie; wonderful father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jay and Margaret Larsen; brothers: Leo and wife Jane, Gail and wife Katherine, Richard and wife Lorena; daughter-in-law, Pamela Larsen. Myrna is survived by her husband, James Bub Larsen; seven children and their spouses; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. VISITATION Thursday, December 18th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, December 19th at 2pm at the West Center Chapel.
