Nancy M. Chopski

March 22, 1929 – July 14, 2020

Nancy Marie (Gulizia) Chopski was born on March 22,1929 and went home to be with Our Lord on July 14, 2020 at the age of 91.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Phil Gulizia; sisters, Mary Skradski and Josephine Mickells; and infant daughter, Mary Kay Chopski.

She is survived by her children: Pat (Howard) Heckenlively, John Chopski, Don (Pat) Chopski, Janet (Barry) Manceaux and Ricky Chopski her “Special Adored Son”; sister, Louise Kojdecki; grandchildren: Melissa (Anthony) Criner, Howie (Tiffany) Heckenlively, Megan (Mark) Bennett, John III (Jennifer) Chopski, Farrahlee (Lockhart–Chopski) and David (Taylor) Manceaux; great-grandchildren: Jadyn, Bella Criner, Gabby, Sophie, Hudson Heckenlively, Maximus, Monet Bennett, John IV, Joseph, Jordyn Chopski, Alanah Lockhart, Azariah Lockhart, Caden and Connor Manceaux; and soon to be born another great-grandson, Beckett Manceaux.

Nancy was a shiny bright star whom was a very kind and loving mother.  Nancy loved spending time with her family and friends.  Mom and Ricky always loved being outside each and every day with them both getting much fresh air by sitting out on the front porch and soaking up the sun.

We are all grateful for all the many memories we shared with our mother.  Mom you were “Our Greatest Love of All”.  We now know that God looked down upon you and knew it was time to bring you home to be with him and his guiding angels.

VISITATION following CDC guidelines: Saturday, August 1st from 10:30am to 11am, at the West Center Chapel followed by MEMORIAL SERVICE at 11am.  INTERMENT: Calvary Cemetery.  Memorials will be directed by the family.
