Nancy June Miller, 70, of Omaha, NE passed away on October 6, 2023. She was born on March 8, 1953, in Omaha to the late Raymond and Blanche Wahlstrom. Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald F Miller.

Nancy had a fulfilling career, starting as a social worker upon graduation and eventually becoming a title officer. She was dedicated to helping others and made a positive impact on many lives throughout her career.

Nancy had a green thumb and could make any plant thrive and bloom. She was craftsy and artistic.  She created beautiful, intricate cross stitch projects. Her sense of style was impeccable which made her a great shopping companion.  Her passion for shoes was well known among family and friends.  When Nancy complimented you on your shoes, you knew you had achieved something.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Sharon Welna (Gary); her son, Matt Miller (Liz Miller); her daughter, Stephaine Lamon (Dan); her grandchildren, Jimmy Miller, Cole Miller, and Lauren Pallesen-Miller; her nephew, Matt Welna (Chelsey); nephew, Mike Welna (Julia). her great nieces Erin Welna, Hannah Welna, her great nephews Graham Welna, Isaac Welna, other relatives and many friends.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE service will be held on Thursday, October 12th at 11am at the West Center Chapel.  Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska. These organizations were dear to Nancy’s heart, and any support would be greatly appreciated.
