Naomi Karen (Klein) Bourg
June 27, 1942 – October 4, 2024, of Omaha, Ne.
Naomi was a “Benson Bunnie” and after high school attended Omaha University on a scholarship. She graduated with a B.F.A. in Art. Naomi worked at Standard Blueprint and later Northern Natural Gas, for more than 40 years, working as a graphic artist and later with computer-related administration duties. She met her husband Marvin at J.C. Penney in 1961 as he was picking up his sister Helen, a schoolmate of Naomi’s. They were married December 18, 1965, at Benson Presbyterian Church, where Naomi was a member. Naomi was a hard worker, with a wicked dry sense of humor and exquisite taste. Despite Paul’s advice to the Corinthians, she did not suffer fools gladly. She was always deeply supportive of family and friends.
Survived by brother Darrell Klein (Patte Newman), nephew Kevin (Ana) Klein and their kids Ethan, Dylan and Ollie, and many loving Bourg family members.
Preceded in death by husband Marvin G. Bourg, her parents Clarence and Naomi A. (Thiedemann) Klein, her mother Noreen Klein, brother Neil Klein, and life-long friend Joyce Wilson.
Visitation begins Monday, October 21st, 10AM at West Center Chapel with a Memorial Service at 11AM.
A luncheon will immediately follow in the West Center Chapel Community Room.

Love you Naomi
Naomi was a friend, an artist, and a collegue of great good humor during our four years as undergraduates at OU. Memories remain of much laughter as Naomi, Joyce Wilson, and I shared a painting studio those long sixty years ago.
