Natalie M. Gill

Natalie Marie Gill, 53, passed away on March 1, 2024, at Nebraska Medical Center. She was born on July 17, 1970, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Natalie spent her early life living in Omaha. She moved the Pompano Beach, Florida, during her teenage years, and later returned to Omaha during her adult life.
Natalie struggled and ultimately passed from a currently unknown genetic disease. Natalie miraculously received a heart transplant in September of 2019 at Nebraska Medical Center, which extended her life by nearly an additional 5 years.
Natalie was an accomplished Speech Language Pathologist and known for her kindness, intelligence, and creativity. She held a Master’s degree of Speech Language Pathology from UNO, and Bachelor’s degrees from both UNO and Creighton University.
In her free time, Natalie enjoyed creating stained glass art, canoeing, and hot air ballooning. Natalie also was a dog lover and deeply cherished the companionship of Ellie, Oreo, and Tiny. Natalie was a thoughtful individual who would go out of her way to help others. She was a kind soul who appreciated everyone she met.
Natalie is survived by her daughter, Shannon; her mother, Mary; and her sister, Jackie.
VISITATION: Thursday, March 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the West Center Chapel, followed by a PRAYER VIGIL SERVICE to honor her life and legacy at 7:00 p.m.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, March 8th, 10:00 a.m., St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 Q St.

Shannon, you were and will always be your mother’s treasure. She was always so proud of you. May you and your grandmother always be reminded of her abiding love for each of you. Natalie was a lovely person, terrific teacher, loving mother and daughter who will be greatly missed and always remembered.
Natalie’s Mom & Daughter, I accidentally stumbled on Natalie’s name here and refused to believe it was the girl I worked with at Chandler View! The girl that made Amazing creative cakes, was first in line to go the extra mile in any situation and Adored her daughter. I’m saddened by her loss. Rest in peace Natalie, Nila
Our family will greatly miss Natalie. She always brought imaginative ideals to family events to make a good time.
The love she shared will always be remembered.
Mary and Shannon, I want you to know that I adore Natalie. The time we spent together in her teenage years. Her laughter, was so genuine. May her beautiful presence always bring you comfort.
Thank you Mary for raising this beautiful child from God. She always had imaginative ways to add fun to our family gatherings.
She loved us all and we will always remember this sweet woman with love
