Some people were born too fine to tolerate this earth. In the end I think that in a very short span of time he experienced the love and connection he found so difficult most of his life. I’m so sorry I wasnt there.

Lou Lukas, you were there. It is because of you that Nick was finally able to accept that he was a worthy person. It is because of you that Nick expressed appreciation of and gratitude to and for his parents numerous times a day. You gave me the son I loved immensely but never really knew until the last six months of his life. How I miss him!!! SSI

I only knew Nick a short time, but it was long enough to know he was full of love….love for people and love for life.
I’m so sorry he was taken so soon. My heart hurts for those that new and lived him

I had the pleasure to get to work with Nick. He had great wisdom for his young age. He left an everlasting impression on me. He was always so kind, respectful, genuine and he had true grit. What a fine young man his parents raised. He will be missed.

How sad and heart wrenching. His time was cut too short. Also, so close to his birthday. Such a huge loss for everyone. I always heard Nick giggle after everything for we all were childhood friends together. I’m so sorry to hear this terrible news. We all shared giggles and fun together. And what a loss to the world it is. He will be deeply missed.

On Feb.11 I said my goodbyes to Nick. He told me how we were top notch neighbors. For as young as he was, he was a better man than me. Never selfish and always thinking of others. We will miss him.

Nick’s spirit was truly rare. He was kind, funny, humble and smart. I know he’s found peace and rest. He has left such an impression on this earth, and will be missed so much. Souls like his are a gift, and I’m glad I got to know him.

Dear Char, I am so sorry about Nick. In the short time I knew him, I thought he was sweet, kind, and funny. I don’t have words to adequately express my sorrow for you, Fritz, Andrea and the rest of your family. Please know that I am thinking of you and extend my deepest sympathy

Thank you Ann. It is good to hear from you.
I still am not at all certain how to go about living with this loss. I may be forced to learn to take things a step at a time.
