Norma Lea Benak
November 9, 1934 – November 3, 2021
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Elizabeth and Gordon Roberts; brother, Glenn Roberts, and infant son, Gerald. She is survived her children: Sandra Acquazzino (Bruce), James (Patricia), Gregory (Anne), Kathleen Lindsay (Allan), Thomas, Daniel; eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was devoted to her husband, Jim, to whom she was married to for 68 years and to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Norma was a long time employee of Sears.
She most enjoyed time spent surrounded by her family, particularly at holiday celebrations. She loved vacations spent in the Poudre River Canyon of Colorado and long walks with her beloved dog, Bailey.
She will be loved always and forever missed.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 9th from 9am to 10am, followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10am, all at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 3405 S. 118th Street. Interment: Omaha National Cemetery at 1pm. Memorials will be directed by the family.
