Ola Dianna Dworak

December 31, 1940 – February 20, 2024

Diane was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, eventually moving to Illinois, where she met her husband, Jerry, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

In her youth, Diane dedicated herself to homemaking and supported Jerry’s musical pursuits. This commitment to family grew stronger as she became a mother to six boys.

Diane actively participated in her family’s life, serving as the art teacher for elementary children and later becoming the cafeteria manager in her children’s schools. She attended her kids’ sporting events and school plays, expressing her pride with intense enthusiasm.

As life progressed, Diane and Jerry moved from Villa Park, Illinois, to Rolla, Missouri, and eventually settled in Lewisville, Texas. In her final months, Diane resided in an assisted living facility in Omaha, Nebraska, where she formed meaningful friendships and impressed everyone with her zest for life.

On February 20, 2024, Diane passed away peacefully, surrounded and comforted by her family, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; son, Steven; and parents, Blanch and Harry Swantek; as well as sisters, Debbie and Ginger.  She is survived by her five sons: Joe (Adrienne), Rob, Ken (Shellee), Mike, Jeff (Jenn); nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
