Josephine A. “JoAnn” Olsufka April 11, 1933 – August 7, 2015 Josephine “JoAnn” went to be with our Lord on August 7, 2015. She was born to Alois and Anna (Zoucha) Kiolbasa on April 11, 1933 in Clarks, Nebraska. She married Clarence Olsufka on June 3, 1961 in Columbus, Nebraska. They made their home together in Omaha, where Josephine lived until 2011 when she moved to Columbus to be near family. She loved embroidering, sewing, and doing crafts, and she especially loved volunteering her time. She was a member of Catholic Daughters and Altar Society at Holy Cross Catholic Church. She made thousands of rosaries as a Legion of Mary rosary maker. She was dearly loved by her many nieces and nephews. JoAnn was preceded in death by parents, Alois and Anna Kiolbasa; husband, Clarence Olsufka; brother, Dennis Kiolbasa; sister, Bernice Tarnick; infant brother, Edwin Kiolbasa; sister, Florence Koziol; brother, Leonard Kiolbasa; and special friend, George Siampos. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Kiolbasa; brother-in-law, Stanley Koziol; many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. We will all greatly miss her presence in our lives. VISITATION begins Tuesday, August 11th at 5pm, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm, all at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday, August 12th at 10:30am at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment, St. John Cemetery in Bellevue. For memorials, the family prefers Masses.
