SHANKS-Oscar W. “Woody,” age 93 years, Chesterfield, MO, formerly of Omaha. Woody was a special agent in the FBI, working on both the east and west coasts and in Texas before settling in Omaha, where he completed 31 years of service. Woody was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed family and friends. A man of integrity, wisdom, kindness and generosity, he had a strong, vibrant faith in God. His hobbies included reading, music, spectator sports, playing golf and cards, and coin collecting. Preceded in death by wife, Christine Shanks. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Kaye and John Decker; granddaughter, Liz Davenport; grandson, John Decker, Jr.; 4 great-grandchildren: Taylee and Jackson Decker, Ben and Brennan Davenport; brother, O’Neil Shanks; sister, Gina Phillips. Services Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., West Center Chapel. Interment, Forest Lawn. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the West Center Chapel.
