GREER, Pamela K., Aug 29, 1946 Jan 11, 2012. Age 65; Omaha, NE. Her hard-fought, five-year battle with cancer is over and she is at peace. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Pam K. Greer, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Born in Nacogdoches/Tyler, Texas, Pam was a well-known Omaha businesswoman, owning her own company, Planteriors, from 1973 to 2011. Pam was a founding member of the areas Gold Star Wives, a lifelong Republican Party supporter, a member of the Omaha Press Club Show, Kiwanis, Eastern Star, and many other groups and organizations. Pam is survived by her devoted husband, Rob Wright; son and daughter-in-law, Clay and Barb Greer; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hammond; nieces, Rebecca and Amanda Wright; cherished Scottie dogs, Mazie and Zoe; many, many dear friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, 4pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. Memorials will be directed by the family.
