Patricia, known as “Pat” to many, was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Joseph and Mary Hybner.  She graduated from South High School in 1953.  Pat very much enjoyed her employment at Stockyards National Bank, in South Omaha, prior to starting her family with her husband, John “Jack” Toye, whom she married on May 7, 1960.

Patricia spent her life caring for her family, volunteering, singing in the church choir, as well as around the house.  She had a beautiful voice!  Keeping the yard looking good was important to her, along with making sure the birds always had enough food and water.  Pat enjoyed watching and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Omaha Knights, Omaha Lancers, and the Colorado Avalanche!  Mostly, she loved being with family and friends.

Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Mary Hybner; mother-in-law, Catherine Hurt (Frank); father-in-law, Charles Toye (Luella); son-in-law, John Hynes; sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Robert Gonring; brother-in-law, Wallace Olson; brothers, Daniel and David Hybner.  Survived by husband of almost 61 years, John Toye; children: Charles “Chuck” Toye, Michelle Luce (Bill), Amy Toye (Hynes), Johnette Toye; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters-in-law: Carole Olson, Ann Hybner, Charlotte Hybner; nieces and nephews.
