HAJEK, Patricia Ann (Joyce) Mar 17, 1928 Mar 29, 2014 Patricia Ann (Joyce) Hajek, age 86 years. Loving wife and mother, born on St. Patrick’s Day, and known as Patty to family and friends. She was active in church music ministry at a young age, active in business as a young woman, and active in Girl/Boy Scouts and PTA as a mother. She was a Rainbow Girls member, and was 3rd State Grand Worthy Advisor in 1948. In that same year she wed Joseph Hajek, having met him at the Omaha office of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad. Patty loved sewing, gardening, baking, decorating for Christmas, and playing Solitaire and Tripoley. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Joyce and Helen (Schaffer) Joyce; her husband, Joseph Hajek; and her granddaughter, Monica Tisher. She is survived by her children: Jo Ann Hajek, Ellen Tisher (Tom), and Joseph Hajek (Dianne); grandchildren, Michelle Tisher and Matthew Hajek; great-grandson, Grant Davis. VISITATION begins Saturday, April 5th, at 9am, with SERVICES at 10am at the West Center Chapel.
