Patricia Carol Cromwell

July 2, 1937 – April 12, 2024

Patricia Carol Cromwell (McFarland) passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, with family by her side. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerome Cromwell; her parents, Alton and Leona McFarland; sisters: Arlene Price, Goldie Bartlett, Lucille Pappas and Mary Falcone. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Rob) Heflin and Kim (Al) Holzapfel; her grandchildren: Amber (Matt) Morrissey, Josh (Joanna) Heflin, and Ethan & Alex Holzapfel; as well as her great-grandchildren: Owen, Ben and Rosalie Morrissey, and Anaiah Heflin; nieces, Diana (Mark) Kalasky and Patti (Rich) Long.

Patricia was born on July 2, 1937, in Albion, Nebraska. She later moved to Omaha where she attended Tech High School and met the love of her life, Jerry. They were married on July 23, 1955, and enjoyed 68 years of marriage.

They built their home in Westgate and started a family. She waitressed at a neighborhood restaurant, Dugger’s, that later became Scott’s, for breakfast and lunch. She enjoyed her co-workers and customers. Over the years she was on a bowling league, tried her hand at golf, and was an avid gardener. She never met a flower she didn’t like.

Pat will forever be cherished for her incredible cooking, unwavering compassion towards others, and the immense affection she showered upon her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

VISITATION: Thursday, April 18th from 9:30am to 10:30am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 654 S. 86th St., followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10:30am.  Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or Christ the King Catholic Church.

    I send my condolences to the family along with my prayers for all of you.. I just Lost my Mother in January of this year. My heart breaks for you. Keep her memories alive.
