Patricia L. Habben, 64, passed away on December 11, 2024. She was born on May 13, 1960 in Seattle, Washington.  She was the youngest of 7 children born to Roland and Doris Gamber.  She was a caring person who loved others unconditionally.

Her family moved back to Omaha when she was young.  After attending St. Pius as a child, Patty spent some of her youth living on a farm near Blair.  She was always proud to share that she attended Wranch school, a one room schoolhouse.  She loved to talk about her days on the farm with her beloved horses Blaze and Charlie Brown.

Patty was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother.  She was so proud of her 6 grandchildren and could often be found in the stands cheering them on during their school and sporting events.  She continuously encouraged them to achieve all of their hopes and dreams.

Patty worked hard, but also loved to have fun.  She enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo, and watching the Chiefs and Cubs play.  She had an amazingly close bond with her siblings and loved them all dearly.  Family was very important to her and she was surrounded by them during her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter (Laura Doll), parents (Roland and Doris Gamber), brother (Richard Gamber), and nephews (Adam Penick and Patrick Gamber).

She is survived by her children Jennifer Doll-Fowler (David Fowler) and Nicholas Doll (Erin), grandchildren Kayla, Sienna, Gavin, Denzel, Dylan, and Kingston, sisters Carol Penick, Kathy Casey (Tom), Mary Smith, and Diane Swartz, brother Dennis Gamber (Cindy), numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Oh Patty! What on earth are we going to do without you at work! I am so glad we became such great friends as we created a small and extremely close group in the Office over the past three years. I will miss hearing about your Casino and BINGO wins, and those precious Grandchildren! How wonderful for them to have had the gift of such an amazing Grandma! I recently found a fortune from the last time we went to Jade Garden for lunch and can’t believe we will no longer have our weekly lunches at all our go-to spots. No more jokes about Meatloaf or Julie being the Princess of Phoenix. We were supposed to have more time with you. I will always be grateful for your friendship. Getting to know your family and hearing all your stories over the years, I can see where you get all your love and kindness. I will forever miss you and the laughs we had at work. Rest Easy Patty Lou!

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family! I’m so sorry that I couldn’t make it to the funeral. I know that she will be missed by all of you, just try to remember all your happy times that you shared, and peace be with all of you!
