Patricia L. Heimrod

Patricia L. Heimrod

July 31, 1947 – November 27, 2020

Patricia “Patti” L. Heimrod passed away on November 27, 2020. She was 73 years old.

Her nicknames were Patticake and Patti Lou Lou.  She was born July 31, 1947 to Bob and Bettie Heimrod who have passed.  She had an older sister, Barbara O’DanieI, a younger sister, Susan Niles, and a younger brother, Fred Heimrod, who has also passed and several nephews and nieces.

Her life consisted of her love for nursing and animals.  She had several Yorkie dogs.  First were Mickey and Midget, then Missie, and now Maddie who has gone to live her Life out with a dear friend.

Patti loved the color purple, puzzles, antique clocks and cardinals.  She had her own Special recipe for yams and spritz cookies at holidays.

Her mornings consisted of reading her daily devotional and then her bible.  Her favorite Scripture was Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever Things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever Things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there Be any praise, think on these things (ASV).  Her goal in life was to live with peace of mind.

One of her wishes was to go to Israel which she did with Susan in the spring of 2017 for TWO weeks where she was re-baptized in the Jordan River.  She loved her church, Westside Church, and the friends and fellowship she had there with other believers.  She will be missed by family and friends immensely.

Services will be held at Heafey, Hoffmann, 7805 West Center Road, Omaha, NE at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020.  There will be refreshments there afterwards.  After that those that want to can join us at West Lawn Cemetery to bury the urn.

Hello, Old friend of Patti’s and often wondered about her. I think I have the right Patti. Did she ever live at Camelot Apts. in Omaha back in early 70s? I lived just down the hall from her. She had several roommates.
I was very sorry to learn she had passed away too young.
Thanks and maybe someone will reply to this message.
