Pat’s greatest love was her family. She loved being around all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Seeing them smile, laugh, teaching them life lessons and to pray gave her great joy. One of her greatest attributes was always helping others. Pat treated others kindly and generously without expecting anything in return. Whether it was mending a shirt or showing someone how to pick the best cantaloupe at the store. She enjoyed spending time baking during the holidays, suggesting new recipes, watching the kids’ sports, and visiting family. This all began at a young age of 19 when she met her husband. In the beginning, like many married couples, they struggled to make ends meet, it wasn’t always easy. Together they persevered, creating an amazing life together with nine children which they committed to raising by living by example; they didn’t just say it, they lived it daily.
She instilled many values in each of us throughout the years. She continuously reminded us we were put on this earth to help others and make their lives a little easier, never harder. Your faith has to go beyond church. And although life may be hard at times, God is always with us, walking us through each moment. She was gracious as she not only welcomed her family, but was a warm, kind host to the friends her family brought home. Her wisdom helped shape each of us as we’ve grown and built our families both near and far.
As you can see their love created a large family tree and a legacy to be remembered. Much like a tree, it all began with strong roots that are firmly planted in good soil to allow the tree to grow and produce good fruit. Together, Pat and Tom, have given strength, guidance, heart, faith and love to its family branches that continue to grow and produce, giving praise to God throughout the years.
Mom and Dad, thank you for being our roots of strength, guidance, a giving heart, faith and love; for teaching us how to produce good fruit by your actions. We love you.

I’m so sorry to hear of Patty’s passing, keeping Tom and the family in our thoughts and prayers. RIP.
Patti was my oldest cousin and I looked up to her especially when I was younger and needed advice. She was always available to talk things over with. She was full of love for her family and other children who needed a place to stay were always welcome at Tom and Patti’s home. As I think about Patti I am reminded of her great generosity, patience and care for others. She was beautiful and ageless and her cousins always looked up to her. She had a calm, sweet soothing voice and even with all her children and grandchildren she seemed to always have time and a heart big enough for everyone. She bad and has a beautiful soul. She is missed. And will always be remembered with smiles.
