Patricia A. Schlueter
August 31, 1951 – April 9, 2025
Patricia “Pat” Ann Schlueter (Hamilton) was born to John and Deloris Hamilton on August 31, 1951, in Council Bluffs, IA. Pat attended country school for two years before going to school in Council Bluffs, IA. She shared many cherished moments with her family while camping and fishing, creating lasting memories in the great outdoors. Pat graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1969 and attended Creighton University, where she graduated in 1974, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Following her college graduation Pat started working as a Pharmacist at Walgreens Pharmacy.
Pat was married to Kenneth Schlueter on May 9, 1975. The couple were blessed with three boys, Kenny, Kevin, and Kyle. The family spent many summer vacations in Winter Park, CO. Ken and Pat were blessed to be involved in many sports and activities with all three boys. Many weeknights and weekends were spent traveling to games and tournaments. Pat remained working at Walgreens until she retired in 2012.
Pat loved the outdoors and gardening. Often, you could find her out in the backyard, tending to her flowers and small garden. Pat also found great joy and comfort in her Bible study group. She cherished the fellowship with others and the thoughtful discussions. Pat enjoyed spending time with family and friends and spent many celebrations together. She would enjoy the “girls’ trip” every year following Thanksgiving with her mom, sisters, and nieces.
Pat and Ken also loved traveling with longtime friends, attending Creighton sporting events and outdoor concerts. They also enjoyed attending performances at the Omaha Orpheum Theater and Omaha Community Playhouse.
Pat’s love for her grandkids ran deep. She lit up whenever they were around, her eyes filled with joy and pride. Whether she was cheering them on at school or sporting events, baking their favorite treats, doing a craft, or simply sitting with them and listening to their stories, Pat was fully present, offering her time, wisdom, and unconditional love. She had a special way of making each grandchild feel seen, heard, and cherished.

Sorry for your loss. Pat was a wonderful woman. The angels have a special gift as she joins them.
My deepest sympathies. I met your mother several years ago at a women’s bible study. We had a few things in common so we always had much to share. I know she is pain free and with Jesus may you be comforted by your wonderful memories.
