Pat was my very best friend when I lived in Omaha(fall of 1973-spring of 1974). He visited me at work often(Hospe’s Music). I became close with he and his parents. It was a GREAT time in my life. We took a roadtrip once to Macon, Ga to check out what the Allman Brothers Band was doing down there. . .what a hoot. I enjoyed every moment I spent with Pat. Playing the blues with Pat was awesome. God Bless Doreena and Pat’s kids. Thanks for all the GREAT times, Pat I Love You. I will see you again, Northside Slim(aka Gary Veylupek, Austin, Tx.).

I will never forget the adventures we had down in Branson, MO – it was an honor to run sound for his band. Pat was a great guy and a tremendously talented performer – one of the very best guitar players I ever had the privilege to see!

I knew Pat as my friend and boyfriend. He was a multifaceted man and inventive artist. I can still remember the song he composed for me on the piano. Fond of the time we spent at the mansion the band Incle Zeke rented in Nebraska City, which had been a part of the underground railroad of Harriet Tubman. He definitely that certain spark in his guitar work and original flair as well. May his friends and family be comforted by the God of love and perfect peace.

I played with a Pat Framton in Winona Minnesota for a while. He wasn’t from here. He played blues he was left handed and strung the guitar upside down. Great player! I was wondering what happened to him . Please reply if this is him. Thank you. My condolence to the family.. sorry for your loss.

Pat truly was my best friend, as well as so much more. Most of you probably don’t remember me, and those who do probably wish they didn’t. But Patrick was one of a kind. Pat,it was an honor to sit in your basement with you and listen with amazement as you taught yourself to play. I only regret not being able to let you know what a positive effect you had on my life. I love you Brother. I hope God sees fit to allow me to see you again. I know you and Jimmy are hitting it off splendidly….
