May 1, 1941 – June 19, 2021

Patrick Fredrick Shannon was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 1st, 1941, and went to be with Jesus our Lord and Savior, on June 19, 2021. When he entered Heaven, he was reunited with his father, Dennis R Shannon, Sr.; mother, Frances (Mantel) Jensen; brothers, Dennis Shannon II and Edward Shannon; sisters: Sharon Snider, Nancy Weyerman, and Sandra Bevins, all of whom had preceded him and are now celebrating their reunion.  Pat is survived by brother, Gary Foster; sisters, Sharon Geritano and Colleen Keleher; children: John David Shannon “Jack”, Jolene V. Shannon, and Patricia Shannon-Miller; nieces: Cindy, Tammy, Colleen, Nancy, and Jerilyn; nephews: Dennis III, David, Kelly Donny, Brad, Don, Randy,  Jeff, and Lyle.

Pat was a mechanic all his life, he also owned a siding business for many years.  When he closed his company, he worked with Carl Scaletta in Omaha, Nebraska at U Wrench It Salvage Yard until Covid forced him to retire at the age of 79.  Pat was a strong man with a good heart, a hard worker, and loved his family, friends, and God.  Pat loved his weekly family dinners, to gamble with his close friend, Jerry Temple, and to tell his wonderful stories.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
