My deep felt sympathy for your family. Pat was a great friend to my dad and our family. His kind heart and friendship will be missed. My prayers are with him and his family.

Maureen, Sheila, Sharon–To lose a sibling is a strange experience. They’re our connections to our parents and memories growing up. And you’ve said good-bye to two brothers within a year. I hope the time you’ll have together in Omaha strengthens your bonds and recalls memories that make you smile.

My deepest condolences to Maureen, Sheila and Sharon. Pat was a long -time friend, going back to 1965, and I will greatly miss his friendship, his wit, opinions, humor and point of view. Whenever there was a news item about sports, politics, legal decisions, economics, journalism — virtually anything, no matter what — I knew I could call Pat, get his take and then banter back and forth. His death is a tough loss for his many friends.

    Maureen, Sharon and Sheila,

Pat and I were stationed together at Sembach Air Base in Germany in the late sixties. We shared a house off base with Bill Manning. Pat was a good friend and mentor to me. The three of us had some memorable times traveling about Europe. Many fond memories. Although we had not spoken for too many years, Pat was often in my thoughts. You have my sincerest condolences.
