Patrick Joseph Blaylock was born on September 15, 1963, in Omaha, NE. He was the fourth of six children born to Elmer and Patricia Blaylock. He is survived by wife, Lisa, and children Leah Sweet (Justin) and children Ethan, Urijiah and Janey and Amanda Courcier (Austin) and son Oliver. Siblings Mike Blaylock (Tammy), Mark Blaylock (Chris), Tim Blaylock (Maureen) Mary Cannia (Al) and Chris Blaylock (Joanne).
Pat was a devoted family man that loved spending time with his wife Lisa, children Leah, Amanda, and grandchildren Ethan, Uriijah, Janey and Oliver. Faith was a big part of Pat’s life, and he attended Sunday Services at Brookside Church.
Pat was great with his hands. He enjoyed playing music, hunting, fishing, and golfing. Pat was the MacGyver of the family. Good with carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing. If you needed to fix it, make it, finish it, or blow it up, Pat was the man for the job.
He enjoyed a successful career of 16 years with Old Dominion Freight Line and received many commendations for a job well done. On a personal level, he will be remembered for his hard work, attention to detail and infectious laughter. His favorite watering hole to unwind with friends was Finnegan’s Pub & Grill. He is loved and will be greatly missed by all.

PAT You Are Special. Jesus has YOU and DANE together!
We were so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. I knew him from when he was married to my sister. He was always one to give advice or just to sit and laugh while talking about silly things. Hopefully, his family can find comfort knowing he has taken his place in Heaven.
My blessings to Pat’s wife and family! I worked with Pat for 6 years at Old Domion Freight!
Thoughts and prayers to all the family☘️🙏
I am Lisa’s Uncle living in Loveland Colorado. Sue and I did not know Patrick but we do know of the love he had for Lisa and the loving care he gave her.
Lisa, we offer condolences to you during this time and have you and all family in our prayers.
My heartfelt condolences to Mary and family.
Mary, Al, and all of Pat’s family, I am so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. I remember his big grin the most from childhood, and all of us kids growing up in the same neighborhood. I know your hearts are hurting terribly right now, and I am praying for all of you.
