Patrick J. Nuffer
July 6, 1959 – January 31, 2021
Patrick J. Nuffer was born to Jerry and Muriel Nuffer on July 6, 1959 in Salina, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his brother Michael T. Nuffer, brother-in-law Marvin Faux and father, Jerry T. Nuffer.
Pat is survived by his wife, Evelyn “Lynne” Nuffer, his children: Amanda Buscher (John), Erin Becker, Jason Nuffer (Jessie); seven grandchildren: Shane Buscher, Jayden Becker, Taya Becker, Kenna Buscher, Rylin Becker, T.J. Nuffer and Evy Nuffer as well as his mother, Muriel M. Nuffer; and sister, Debbie Faux.
Pat grew up in a military family and was the youngest of three children. They settled in Omaha, NE where he graduated from Bryan Senior High School in 1977. Following his father’s footsteps, Pat served four years in the United States Air Force.
He me Lynne Milne in 1982 and they were married on October 28th, 1983. He also stepped in to help raise two daughters, Amanda and Erin. Pat and Lynne’s son, Jason was born in 1985.
He received his Mechanical Engineering degree from UNL in 1992, working for several Omaha area companies over the years.
Following CDC guidelines, INTERMENT: Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at 9am, Omaha National Cemetery with Military Honors by Benson VFW Post 2503; CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 at 10:30am, West Center Chapel. Memorials are suggested to Josie Harper Hospice House.
