Preceded in death by husband, Daniel.
Survived by son, Todd (Loida); granchildren, Patrick, Paula, and Niko; sisters, Nancy Pugh (Rod), Diane Andersen; many other relatives.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 25th, from 5-7PM at West Center Chapel.
Funeral: Friday, July 26th, 10 AM at West Center Chapel.
Interment: Forest Lawn.

Condolences to the Firestone family. I worked at Omaha Fire when Daniel was a fire inspector for the Fire Prevention Bureau. He and Pat would be part of the gang that traveled each winter to Cancun, Mexico. We had so many fun times, Bryan and I. I remember Pat (as she was called back then), took it very hard when Dan passed away, even though he fought cancer for many years. I believe they are now reunited.
My condolences to everyone. This afternoon I was a patient of Dr. Daniel Firestone, who may be a relative. This is an awkward way to connect, but Daniel appears to be a family name. It may possibly be a strange coincidence that my mother Vi Goracke’s services are at the same location about the same time frame. Dr. Firestone and I just made appropriate small talk. Perhaps neither of us wanted to “go there” about the tough topic of so recently losing a loved one and carrying on through the loss. Maybe our paths will cross on Thursday. I don’t know Phyllis, but we are close in age. Wishing everyone peace.
