November 22, 1969 – February 21, 2020

29-year employee of Marianna Industries.

Preceded in death by mother, Arlene.  Survived by father, Ervell; sister, Patricia Hakes (Jim); nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Thursday, February 27th from 5pm to 7pm, at the West Center Chapel followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, February 28th, 10am, St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church (11802 Pacific St.)  INTERMENT: Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

    So very sorry for your loss. I knew Paul in high school and worked with him at Marianna. He was such a nice guy, hard worker, and very talented. I was fortunate to see him perform with his band. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    I was Paul’s teacher at Millard North Junior High. Paul was always a positive person to have in the classroom and I enjoyed being his teacher. I will never forget one Christmas he gave me a ice scraper for my car with furry mitt surrounding it so my “hands wouldn’t get cold” when I was cleaning my windows. He was a good person. Condolences to his family and friends.
