Paul Joseph “P.J.” Mangiamelli

July 1, 1986-July 10, 2024

Paul Joseph ” PJ” Mangiamelli was born on July 1, 1986, in Omaha, NE, to Linda Mangiamelli. Growing up, he loved baseball, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his cousins, Tony, Nick and Brandon, who were more like brothers to him.

At the age of 18, P.J. moved to California where he married. They had three amazing children together: Nolan, Brendon and Sienna Mangiamelli. In 2009, P.J. and his family moved back to Omaha.

He loved his children very much and he loved playing ball with his sons and going fishing with his family. He loved to have tea parties with his daughter, and he would also let her paint his nails if she asked.

P.J. lost his long, hard fight with Huntington’s s disease on July 10, 2024.

P.J. was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Mangiamelli; and his sister,Joni Gerdes.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Mangiamelli; sons, Nolan and Brendan, daughter, Sienna; and the mother of his children, Amanda Mangiamelli. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

FUNERAL SERVICE:  Tuesday, July 23 at 10:30 AM at West Center Chapel, Omaha.

INURNMENT: Resurrection Mausoleum

    I am so sorry to hear about the loss of PJ, it’s very hard to lose a child .
