Connie Jean Payne Nov 6, 1923 – Jan 6, 2015 Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, attaining rank of Corporal. Preceded in death by parents, Albert J. and Margaret Griffiths; brothers: Jim, Ken, and Albert; sisters, Muriel and Rhoda. Survived by husband, Jack W. Payne; daughters, Karen Shaw (Ray) and Jackie O’Brien (Tom); six grandchildren: Doug Sandstedt (Jill), Wendy Barry (Jon), Katie O’Brien, Tim O’Brien, Raymond Shaw (Julie), and David Shaw (Michelle); five great-grandchildren: Carly, Annika and Hannah Sandstedt, Emma and Jackson Barry; several nieces and nephews. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Service Saturday, March 28th at 11am at First Baptist Church, 421 Park Avenue (Park and Harney Streets) in Omaha.
