Robert J. Penner, Sr. Oct 30, 1935 Aug 29, 2015 Age 79; Operators Union 571 Heavy Machine Mechanic. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Blanche Penner of Lincoln, NE; brother, Don Penner; sister, Rose Range; son, baby R.J. Penner; granddaughter, Katie McNeil; daughter-in-law, Sally Penner. Survived by wife of 60 years, Colleen Penner; children: Robert Joseph Penner, Jr. (Dawn), Cathy McNeil (Mike), Julie Mensen (Ron), Cheryl Negus (Jeff), and Terri Beckenhauer (Daryll); sister, Sharyn McDermott of Grand Junction, Colorado; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; many loving extended family. Joe lived his life with sharing his love of family, faith, cars, camping, boating, and fishing. We were very blessed to have him as our husband and father. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 1st from 6pm to 7pm, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm, all at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday, September 2nd at 11am at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 Q St. GRAVESIDE SERVICE Wednesday, 1:30pm, Calvary Cemetery.
