Peter J. Offerdahl

Peter Offerdahl was born on May 10, 1960, to Ray and Kay Offerdahl. Peter was fond of hunting with his father and very enthusiastic about training their hunting dogs. Despite being diagnosed with type one diabetes at the age of 8, he never let his diagnosis slow him down. His mischievous nature and quick wit kept his mother and father on their toes. Peter graduated from Ralson High School in 1978. Soon after that, he moved around the country exploring different career options and enjoying his wild youth. Eventually, he came back to Omaha, Nebraska where he decided to put down roots and settle. His married Jodie Ann Kellner on April 20, 1990. While married to Jodie, Peter began working for District 66 schools in their warehouse. While the marriage eventually ended, his career at the district grew. They recognized his work ethic and his ability to organize chaos quickly and efficiently. He was promoted and was the manager of their warehouse. During his time at District 66, he met a woman named Deborah. He married her on December 14, 2012. He retired from District 66 schools when his diabetes and his heart failure got to be too much. Deborah and Peter were able to spend their golden years having many adventures until he passed on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Funeral: Tuesday, April 29th, 6:00pm at West Center Chapel with visitation from 4:30pm-6:00pm.
