Born in Omaha, NE and died in Festus, MO

Peter was a retired welder from Union Pacific Railroad.

He was the son of Emil & Arlene (Slavik) Janky.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Frances (nee Craven) Janky; brother, Patrick Janky.

Survived by his three daughters: Katherine (Scott) Pachunka of Omaha, Nebraska; Susan (and the late Pasquale) Signorino of Ballwin, MO; and Kristine (Dan) Gronborg of De Soto, MO; grandchildren: Dr. Joseph (Erin) Pachunka, Emily (Mason) Parriott, Hannah (Colin Finnegan) Pachunka, Allison Pachunka, Payton Gronborg, and Colton Gronborg; great-granddaughters: Ella Pachunka, Emma Parriott, Grayson Scott Pachunka; two sisters, Paulette (Tom) Bogacz of Omaha, NE and Pamela Janky of Omaha, NE.

Funeral: Saturday, April 6th, 10:00AM at West Center Chapel.

Interment: Calvary

    Growing up, Pete was a great big brother. Being the youngest sibling, he watched out for me, not only with other kids in the neighborhood, but with our other siblings, Pat and Pam, when we squabbled like siblings always do. Before I married, he and Mary invited me to go with his family on fishing trips to Minnesota. I had a lot of fun with his three daughters.
