Preceded in death by mother, Rita; brother, David. Survived by wife, Lori K. Carbonell; children: Andrea Carbonell (Danny Fuller), Angela Rodriguez (Martin), and Lisa Carbonell; grandchildren: Mariah, D.J., CeCe, and JoJo; father, Asterio Ross Carbonell, Sr. (Nancy); brothers: A.R. (Janet), Paul (Sunhui), and Kevin; sisters: Desireé (Bob), La Naya (Steve), and Melanie (Rick); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ellen and Phil Hilliar; sisters-in-law, Lynne and Kris (Kyron); many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends; and faithful companion, Nina.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 6th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 6:30pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, September 7th at 11am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4810 Woolworth Ave. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

I am sorry to hear of Phil’s passing. We worked together for several years and I considered him a good friend. He had the best Catfish I ever tasted. My prayers are with his family.
