Phillip Charles Farnsworth was born to Freda and Merrille Farnsworth on October 16, 1935 in Shenandoah, Iowa. He grew up on his parents’ farm in Westboro, Missouri, with his older brother, David Merrille and younger sister, Joyce. He enjoyed showing horses and barrel racing. Having moved to Omaha to attend college, he met and married Jacqueline Romano on June 18, 1955. They raised three daughters, Jill (Uher), JoDeen (Mann), and Janell (Rudolf). He worked at Vickers Hydraulics for 19 years, then moved to Omaha Marine before going to work with his daughter and son-in-law at their business, D & J Beverage. The family enjoyed boating, water skiing and camping together nearly every week during the summer. An avid hunter and fisherman, Phill retired to Table Rock Lake where he could enjoy his passions. He returned to Omaha to be with family after he developed health problems.

Phil has always been one of my favorite story tellers. We will miss him.
Offering sincere condolences, no doubt this is a difficult time for the family. May you put trust in the many promises our Heavenly Father guarantees will soon come about and allow that wonderful hope to comfort you in the days ahead. (John 11:25; Ps. 37:29)
